Please be careful when changing your old halogen lightbulb tubes over to LED. You need to use the conversion kit and cannot plug the LED tubes into the halogen ballast this will cause a fire.

At 1854 hours crews were dispatched to assist Washington Twp Fire Co with a reporting a single family dwelling fire. Command arrived on scene to find the fire out prior to arrival and cancelled all mutual aid.

At 1945 hours crews were dispatched in the borough for a strong smell of natural gas outside. Assistant 1 arrived in the area and had a odor outside. Crews from NBVFD, Belle Vernon Fire Co and Rostraver Central metered the houses in the block.

At 0414 hours crews were dispatched to assist Perry Twp Fire Co with a working single family dwelling fire. The Air Truck and Squad arrived on scene and crews were assigned to fire attack. Crews remained on scene for two and half hours.

At 2339 hours crews were dispatched to a borough single family dwelling for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm activated. Chief 80 arrived on scene fallowed by the Engine. Crews monitored the residence with no readings found.

At 1630 hours crews were dispatched in the borough for a two vehicle rear end type collision. Crew arrived on scene to find negative injuries or hazards. The police already on scene and had the vehicles off to the side of the road.

At 1750 hours crews were dispatched to the interstate in the borough for a single vehicle vs the jersey barrier. Engine arrived on scene and started patient care and traffic control. Patient care was transfered to EMS upon arrival and crews remained on scene till the tow truck removed the vehicle.

At 1738 hours crews were dispatched to assist Washington Twp with alarm bells sounding in a personal care facility. Crews arrived on scene an assisted with the investigation. Water from a clogged toilet leaking into the detector head was found to be the issue.
