At 2018 hours crews were dispatched into the borough for a smell and sight of smoke in the area. The Engine crew went en route and found a haze in the area. Crews found a outside recreational fire and advised the homeowner to put it out due to the no open burn ordnance.

At 0934 hours crews were dispatched to a residence in the borough to assist Rostraver West Newton EMS with patient extraction. Assistant 1 arrived first finding the EMS crew with patient care. The engine crew arrived and assisted with extraction to the awaiting ambulance.
